Elizabeth Claire Morgan is a well known and highly respected Federation Diplomat and Ambassador. Born in 2325, Elizabeth is the eldest child to parents Constance and John Mason and has four younger siblings consisting of three brothers and a sister. She married Patrick Morgan in 2350 and she has two daughters, who are both serving in Star Fleet. Her daughters are Connie Butterworth and Kelly Morgan.
Private Life
Being the eldest child in her family Elizabeth spent a lot of her time mediating disputes between her younger brothers who often argued and fought with each other. She met Patrick Morgan in 2347 and quickly fell in love with him, which lead them to marriage in 2350. She became pregnant with her first child in 2351 and gave birth to a healthy baby girl in 2352 who they named Connie after Elizabeth's own mother Constance. She stepped down from her position as a diplomat shortly after the birth of Connie as she wanted to settle down with Patrick and raise Connie together on Earth. They relocated to the small island of Tasmania on Earth in 2353 and Elizabeth gave birth just over a year later to their second child Kelly.
After a number of years Elizabeth eventually decided to return to work taking up a part time position with the Diplomatic Core as she wanted to continue spending time with her family. She became a full time ambassador for the Federation after her youngest daughter Kelly enrolled in Starfleet Academy.
Career
In 2345 Elizabeth fresh from school took up a position working at the federation embassy on Andor, where she worked as an aide for the embassy's ambassador. After two years working at the embassy Elizabeth was able to get herself a position with Starfleet's diplomatic core as a Civilian Specialist in 2347. She worked mostly as an advisor until 2349 when she was selected for her first field assignment as an official diplomat for the United Federation of Planets. She continued to serve as a diplomat for the Federation for a couple of years before she gave up the position in 2352 after the birth of her first child to spend time with her husband and young daughter.
Elizabeth returned to Starfleet's Diplomatic Core after a ten year absence in 2362 in a part time position as an advisor. Along with her work as an advisor Elizabeth became involved in the diplomatic talks that were deleveloping between the Federation, Salay and Antican governments. She played an important role in the peace talks on Parliament in 2364 between the Salay and the Anticans where she served as the Federation Representative and Ambassador at the talks. Following the successful negotiations on Parliament Elizabeth returned to Earth to rejoin her family and resumed her part time role with the diplomatic core.
She took up a full time role as a Federation Ambassador in 2368 and served the Federation in that role for 11 years. During this time she worked closely with both the Bandi and Angosians. She was also involved in the Federation'a first contact with the Evora where she played a vital role in establishing the Evora as a Federation Protectorate. Elizabeth semi-retired from her position as an Ambassador in 2379, but she still serves the Federation in this capacity from time to time.
