Introduction
After gathering valuable intelligence on the strength of the Rikan's base of operations, the crew of the USS Pacifica lead a campaign to bring an end to the Rikan threat once and for all.
Summary
The USS Pacifica returned to Starbase 257 for a much needed resupply following the success of the mission in the Rabbit Hole. Armed with the information gathered from the crippled Rikan vessel found in the rabbit hole Commodore Butterworth started devising a plan to bring an end to the pirate operations once for all. The green light for Butterworth's plan came from Star Fleet Command the following morning with every starship from the Rikan Task Group being pulled from their assignments to join the Pacifica at Starbase 257 to take part in the mission.
With Commodore Butterworth putting the final touches on the plans for the mission the rest of the Pacifica's crew were busy seeing to the resupply. Rumours of an early departure from the Starbase had the Pacifica's crew led by the returning Lieutenant Hart and the Operations Department working on overdrive to get the resupply completed on time. Doctor Morgan and her medical staff down in sickbay were not only kept busy by the resupply but by Lieutenant Commander James Markson who had suddenly collapsed in sickbay while seeing Doctor Patterson about a headache. Puzzled by Markson's sudden unexplained collapse Doctor Morgan ordered the Pacifica's helmsman to be fully sedated as she preformed a full workup on him. Also during this busy time the Pacifica's First Officer Lieutenant Commander L'Verrem welcomed the new Chief Strategic Operations Officer Lieutenant Junior Grade Sevik to the ship.

- To date this has been the largest fleet action that the USS Pacifica has been involved in.
- With the upcoming events of Something Old and Something New two planned missions for the mission campaign were skipped over. The events of both missions take place between Down the Rabbit Hole and Pacification.
