The Next Mission

Hi guys,
I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that we would be kicking off a new long-term mission arc. This will be the second such long-term mission arc that we will be undertaking after the success of the Rikan Campaign. This story arc however will be quite different to what we done in the past with the Rikan Storyline. It will hopefully allow us to make full use of our creativity, while at the same time allowing us to focus on what Star Trek is all about. Anyway here is what I have planned for us next.
The Pacifica will be heading out to conduct a long-term deep space exploration mission on the far outreaches of the Federation in unexplored space. As we will be working outside Federation space we will be the only Federation ship in the area, which means that we will be operating on our own and without any support. It will provide us with an opportunity to create a bit of our own canon and will allow us to come with some stories that we wouldn’t normally undertake.
We’ll be kicking things off with the first mission, which will be tilted “Voyage of Discovery.” The mission itself will be basically broken down into 2 different parts. The first part of the mission will occur over next the couple of weeks, and will consist of laying both the IC & OOC ground work for the Pacifica’s mission. The second part of the mission will be the Pacifica’s journey out to its destination.
I will be posting more information on our next mission over the next day or so. In the meantime if you have any questions please let me know.
Happy Simming.
