The State of Things

Hi guys.

Okay guys and Girls there have been a couple of developments lately here on the Pacifica and in Bravo Fleet that you should all be aware of.

I would like to start things off by informing you all that Lieutenant Commander Matthew Horne as reached the decision to leave the Pacifica. It was a difficult decision for Matthew to reach but it was one that he needed to make, as he will soon starting off on a new direction in life. You can rest assured though that this will not be the last time that you all see Matthew, as he’ll be back at some point in the future as he can never stay away from the Pacifica. So with that I would like you all to join with me in wishing bon voyage to Matthew and to thank him for all the time and effort that he has given to the Pacifica over the years.

With Matthew’s departure we are once again without the services of a First Officer. It is unfortunate to lose our First Officer at such a time, but we will need to continue to press with the mission whilst I search for a replacement. In the mean time Connie will continue to serve as acting XO OOC until a replacement can be found. If anyone here is interested in putting their name forward for the XO position please do as I would be happy to consider any of you guys for the position. So if anyone out there is interested in the job please email me at dbthesuperstar@hotmail.com

Finally I would like to move on to what is happening currently in Bravo Fleet. Over the last couple of days there has been a major split in Bravo Fleet with a number of Task Forces leaving the fleet. I am not fully sure on the details behind the split, as I am still trying to piece together exactly what has happened. I know that a few of you are a little bit worried about what happening with the fleet, so I want to reassure you all that this will have no effect on the Pacifica at all. We will continue on like we always have and that will be as a Bravo Fleet Simulation.

Okay that it is from me for the moment as I have to get some sleep before work tomorrow. I will check in with guys again tomorrow when I get home. If anyone has any questions in the mean time or any concerns please drop either me or Connie a line.
