Posted on Thu Feb 8th, 2007 @ 4:57pm by Lieutenant Commander Mark Kirkwood

Mission: The Zone
Location: Pacifica

ON:

After leaving main engineering Kirkwood had headed off to check on the
maintenance team who were replacing one of the power couplins in the forward
pahser array, as they were behind scheduel. Arriving on the scene he spotted the
team hard at work.

Kirkwood: ;;walks up to them;; What\'s the hold up?

Engineer 1: The new couplin was defective, so we had to replace it again.

The news was a little bit of a worry as the couplin was already defective. But
Mark could see that the team was making quick progress in replacing it. Suddenly
the ship jumped to red alert, sending the team into a bit of a panic.

Kirkwood: Keep at it.

Turning around he reached for his comm badge and gently tapped it.

Kirkwood: +Taps+ Kirkwood to Cesarian

Cesarian: Go ahead.

Kirkwood: What\'s going on?

Cesarian quickly brought him up to speed on what was happening, and Kirkwood was
slightly surprised to discover that things had gone rather wrong.

Kirkwood: Okay could you let the Commodore know that we are still replacing that
power couplin down here. It should take about another 5 to 10 minutes.

OFF: Tag Cesarain
