Not a Happy Gladiator

Posted on Thu Feb 8th, 2007 @ 5:10pm by Lieutenant Marcus Cesarian

Mission: The Zone
Location: Bridge

Marcus wasn’t a happy gladiator. The Pacifica had taken a beating from a group of pirates. It just didn’t seem possible, but as he went over the damage report he could see that some how it had happened. Anger and frustration boiled inside him. His Roman blood demanded revenge.

He paused for a moment, collecting his thoughts, and then slowly, as calmly as he could muster, he reviewed the list one more time before turning it in to the commodore.

The main deflector dish was operating at only 20% efficiency, while micro hull breaches peppered the port side of the dorsal section of the ship. The port phaser array was out and the main shuttle bay had taken heavy fire as the fighters had landed. Some serious work would have to be done to it before anything took off from it.

When Marcus finished reviewing the report he stepped over to the center chair where the commodore was involved with the current situation.

Marcus: Here is that damage report you requested sir. They hurt us but nothing we can’t repair in order to go back after them.

Marcus handed the padd to Butterworth.
