==Basic Overview In Character & Out of Character==
Lieutenant Commander Able was hand selected to join the [[USS Pacifica]] by Captain [[Daniel Butterworth]] shortly after the ship was commissioned in 2377. He served as the ship's [[Strategic Operations Officer]] and as [[Second Officer]] during the Pacifica's first three mission. At times he also acted as the ship's [[Chief Security and Tactical Officer]]. In 2378 Able transferred to the USS Houston after being selected as the ships new first officer.
