==Introduction== 
The USS Pacifica's Yearly Awards have been handed on the Pacifica since 2002 and play a major part in the ship awards program. The yearly awards are some of the most importat awards that are handed on the Pacifica. All of the awards with the except of the [[The USS Pacifica CO's Commendation|CO's]] & [[The USS Pacifica XO's Commendation|XO's]] Commendations are chosen by the Pacifica's players through voting on the ship's forum. Each of these awards are designed to highlight the very best of the Pacifica and her crew throughout the year just passed and to show what makes the Pacifica the simulation that it is today.

The USS Pacifica Role Player of the Year Award is one of the Pacifica’s major awards that is handed out annually during the Pacifica’s yearly awards. The USS Pacifica Role Player of the Year is awarded to the person who the Pacifica’s Simming Community feels has excelled the most during the previous year, this can be through posting or just being an active member of the crew both in and out of character. Winners of the award highlight the very best members of the Pacifica’s Simming Community throughout the years.
