===Ecology===
Pearen IV is a world teaming with an abundance of life on many different evolutionary levels, it is a primordial world that in many ways resembles the late cretaceous period on Earth. It's plants ranges from simple algae to large ferns and trees while animal life ranges from simple cell bacteria to primitive sentient reptilian creatures. Sensors recorded twelve different species of land animals that weighed in excess of 50 tons.

[[Marcus Cesarian|Lieutenant Marcus Cesarian]] discovered a flying raptor like creature approximately 4' tall and very reptilian. When on the ground they stood upright their front legs and had limbs that resembled human arms which end in hands with five fingers one of which is an opposable thumb. Their wings fold up and are almost indistinguishable from the rest of their bodies when not in use. These creatures seem to posses a primitive sentient mind, they adorn themselves with tattoos and primitive jewelery and may have a basic shamanic culture. They appeared to have sense of hierarchal structure and while they were very skittish and afraid of unfamiliar things they were very curious.
