You need more than pure brawn when it comes to exploring a never ending frontier full of unknown, unimaginable wonders and mysteries. To solve these unknown dilemmas one requires knowledge, quick wits and a certain level of intelligence. The USS Pacifica’s Smartest Officer of the Year Award, rewards the character who has proven to be the most knowledgeable during the previous year.
Senior Officers always seem to get all of the glory and recognition in Starfleet but the ‘real work,’ is done by the dozens of crewmen who serve below them. The USS Pacifica Assistants Award was established to recognise the effort and contribution of these often recognised officers.
