Holly spent most of her childhood growing up on starships as her parents were both star fleet officers. As she spent so much time on starships Holly quickly developed a keen understanding of life as a star fleet officer and by the age of 10 she had her heart and mind set on joining star fleet. At the age of 16 she left her parents and the USS Gough where she had grown up and moved to Earth to live with her mother's sister in San Francisco to finish her schooling. Her first year on Earth was not as she had expected it to be, as she had never spent so much time on a planet before. She had grown up on a starship she never really got settled into living at one place as she was use to moving about. This early on affected her schooling but following her auntie's advice she took up a number of different sports and other physical activities to occupy herself at the age of 17 after finishing her schooling she applied and was accepted into Star Fleet Academy.

Starfleet Academy

Holly had known from a young age where exactly she had wanted to serve in Star Fleet and that was following her fathers footsteps into flight control. Her father however had only ever served as a shuttle pilot. She personally wanted to achieve more then that as she wanted to be at the helm on a starship with this in mind she concentrated fully on courses at the academy to do with helm control and navigation while also doing a secondary course in natural sciences. After her fours years at the academy she graduated with honors in flight control navigation while she just got through with her course in natural sciences.

Starfleet History

Holly fresh out of the academy was assigned to the science vessel dakar which was conducting a long survey mission on the edge of federation space it was a month into her posting before she got assigned to a position at the helm during the grave yard shift after a long slow six months at the helm holly began to wonder whether or not if she was suited for star fleet as she starting to get annoyed at being in the middle of no where with nothing to do nevertheless she stayed at it and when the dakar returned to starbase 503 nearly a year later she quickly put in a request for transfer her request was approved and two weeks later she was transferred to the uss crazy horse an akira class starship which was operating along the cardassian border holly settled into her new position quickly and became the assistant chief flight control officer after only one month onboard the ship with the crazy horse heavily involved in the operations to rebuild the cardassian union after the dominion war she finally felt settled while spending a quite a bit of time at the helm of the crazy horse she saw some areas of cardassian space that many others hadn seen before and she received her first promotion to the rank of lieutenant junior grade she spent another three months of the crazy horse after it returned to the federation space before she learned of an opening for chief helmsman on the pacifica seeing this as an opportunity to advance her career she put in a application for the position on the pacifica and much to her surprise commodore butterworth offered her the position and she transferred to deep space 12 where the pacifica was undergoing the final stages of a refit she spent several months heading the pacificas flight control department before she decided to step down from the top position as she was no longer enjoying the administration duties that came with the position she continues to serve on the pacifica as a flight control officer.
