The Assistant Chief Strategic Operations Officer is the second ranked officer in the Strategic Operations department. He or she answers to the Chief Strategic Operations Officer. He or she is responsible for coordinating Starfleet and allied assets within a designated area of space, as well as tactical analysis and intelligence gathering.
