Ensign Thomas Gregs is a Starfleet Science Officer who has been assigned to the USS Pacifica since 2379. In his time on the Pacifica Ensign Gregs has served under three different Chief Science Officers Lt. Cmdr. Matthew Horne, Lt. James Harris & current chief Lt. Marcus Cesarian.

Early Life
Born on Earth in 2357 to parents Simone and Harley Gregs. His parents who were both fabrication engineers moved to Cestus III in 2360 shortly before Thomas' third birthday. His younger sister Samantha was born three years later. Thomas spent much of his youth helping his father out with his various side projects and developed a strong interest in the mechanics and the science behind the technology. Thomas first set his sights on joining Starfleet at the age of the 12 and applied for admission to Starfleet Academy on his 18th birthday.
Starfleet Career
After four years at Starfleet Academy Thomas Gregs graduated in the top 25% of his class. He was promoted to the rank of Ensign and in 2379 was assigned to the USS Pacifica a Sovereign Class Starship as a junior science officer under the supervision of the Pacifica's Chief Science Officer Lieutenant Commander Matthew Horne. During his first year on the Pacifica, Thomas worked closely with Ensign Owen Banks and developed a strong friendship with the fellow Science Officer.
Lieutenant Commander Horne departed the Pacifica late in 2379 and was replaced by Lieutenant James Harris. Under Harris' leadership Thomas took on a more active role in the department. In 2380 he assisted with the investigation into the unexplained earthquakes on Archeria and helped to track down the missing members of the crew including Commodore Butterworth who had been abducted by a group of Archerian dissidents. Later that year Ensign Gregs was a member of the science team that discovered ancient ruins on Typhon III that put a early end to the terraforming operations on the planet.
By 2382 Thomas had established himself as a senior and key member of the USS Pacifica's Science Department and often served as Lieutenant Cesarian's relief on the bridge.
