The Month in Review

Overview

by Captain Daniel Butterworth

It has been a slow and steady start for us since we kicked off posting on back on the 5th. We got off to a really good start with a surge of posts at the start of the month, but it dried up a bit over the last week or so. This is something that we will need to be mindful of as we continue to move forward because we need to be more consistent with our posting. Saying that though it has been a pretty good month for us and we managed to meet most of my expectations that I had set for the month. The quality of our posts this month has been really good and I have really enjoyed reading every single one of them, particularly the JP’s. The JP’s are one of the real positives that we can take out of the month as they have all been high in quality and show good cohesiveness between the crew.

Mission Progess

We got off to a descent start with the Road to 2386 with the first 2 hotspots moving along nicely. Of particular note is The Promotions Ceremony which is playing out like a mini mission at the moment this will hopefully continue during the next couple of weeks. This differs from Voyage of Discovery which is being used to set up future events, unfortunately that has stalled slightly at the moment, but I will be moving that one forward rapidly over the next week.

Areas of Concern

The only area of concern that we currently have is the posting fade out that we had at the end of the month. There were a couple of OOC factors that did contribute to this and the way that the mission is playing out most likely played some role in it as well. This is something though that we really need to do our best job of avoiding in the future, so I would like you to be mindful of this next month.

The Month Ahead

Goals for the Month

Our main goals for November are to improve on our posting consistency and try to avoid the end of the month slow down. We are looking at bringing in standard posting requirements in either December or January, so we should also use the month to start getting back into the habit of posting at least once a week. In all I am hopeful of lifting our posting totals this month up to the 35 mark, so I will be setting that as our benchmark for the month.
