The USS Tamar NCC-79399 is a Delta Flyer Class Runabout named after the Tamar River located in Northern Tasmania on Earth. The Tamar was built at Avalon Fleet Yards in 2378 and was attached to the USS Pacifica after the loss of the USS Paris in early 2379. The Tamar was originally called the USS Columbia but was renamed as the Tamar after Starfleet commissioned a new USS Columbia into the fleet. The Tamar has been the most actively used runabout of the Pacifica's support craft, the craft was used during the Pearen Mission as a landing vehicle and in the past was used by Lieutenant James Harris to explore the Aroshi System.
