General Overview:
Jack is a hard working man skilled in his chosen area of diplomacy, particularly in media relations. Jack has an optimistic outlook on life and he uses humour to defuse difficult situations.
Ambitions:
Jack enjoys his position, but he has a secret ambition to be the Commanding Officer of his own starship to this end he hopes to apply for Starfleet Academy when his tour of duty on the Pacifica ends.
Hobbies & Interests:
Jack enjoys collecting and constructing models of old Earth battleships and planes. He also likes to preform stand up comedy and is usual seen either in the Holodeck or in Jadda's preforming for the crew or a holographic audiences.

History
Jack was born in Quebec Canada and was raised by both of his parents. His grades in school were not great but he was a hard worker and he was well on his way to entering Starfleet Academy. His mother was a prominent scientist so she was transfered to a scientific outpost along the Cardassian Border. About a year before he was due to apply for Starfleet Academy she was killed in a pirate attack on the outpost. 4 months before his entry exam and he withdrew his application so he could spend some more time with his father Jack's father quickly deteriorated after his wife's death and passed away a year later due to a broken heart. Jack then reapplied for the Academy at the age of 19 but missed out on passing his entry exam. After he failed he then joined Starfleet as an enlisted officer.
After basic training he was posted on Deep Space 12 for 5 years as a Diplomatic Aide to the station's Chief Diplomatic Officer. In 2377 he was offered a transfer to the posistion of Media Relations Officer onboard the USS Minnesota where he served for a further 4 years he then put in for transfer once again and was accepted onboard the USS Pacifica as the vessel's Media Relations Officer.
