Commissioned in 2377 the USS Pacifica is a top of the line
Sovereign Class starship assigned to head up and co-ordinate Starfleet’s exploration efforts in the
Isis Arm. The Pacifica first rose to prominence in 2381-82 while serving as the flagship of the much publicised
Rikan Task Group and later went on to play a major role in the Cestus Campaigns against the Gorn in 2383. Having undergone a major refit in the lead-up to its mission, the Pacifica is Starfleet’s primary asset in the Isis Arm and is capable of fulfilling any role. Commanded by
Captain Daniel Butterworth the Pacifica is home to a experienced and highly talented crew who are fully dedicated to their mission.

The 25th’ Battalion’s 101st Marine Company is the current marine detachment assigned to the
USS Pacifica. Purely a light infantry force the 101st Company is made up of 5 platoons and is home to a total of 150 marines. The 101st is primarily an external force that specialises in ship to ship boarding and combat operations, , but they stand ready to defend the ship when it is necessary. The 101st is also home to an elite recon team that is known simply as
Echo Squad.

Captain Rachel Cortez. The Commonwealth is a highly dependable multi-purpose vessel that is assisting with the construction work on
Starbase 749. Classified as a Heavy Cruiser the Commonwealth is also tasked with the defence of the still under construction Starbase and of the fledgling colony on the moon
Eurydice.

Rachel Cortez is the commanding officer of both the
USS Commonwealth and of
Starbase 749 which is still under construction. She is an excellent engineer who since taking over as project leader has made great strides in getting the construction work back on schedule. She is the second highest ranking Starfleet Officer in the Isis Arm and is responsible for Starfleet Operations in the
Orpheus System. Despite her extensive engineering background Cortez is a shrewd tactician and a capable starship commander.

SB-749 is a
Presidium Class Starbase currently under construction in the
Orpheus System above the
Eurydice Colony site. Envisioned as the Federation’s gateway to the Isis Arm construction work first commenced on the facility in 2368, but was postponed until 2377 due to the Dominion War. Today SB-749 is mostly a large floating hulk in space with engineers still working on several large sections of the outer hull. Only two decks on the facility are currently operational, which serve as accommodation and work areas for the base’s various engineering teams. With no defensive systems of its own SB-749 relies heavily on the
USS Commonwealth and a small number of orbital weapon platforms for protection.

This company of combat engineers has been deployed to
Eurydice as part of a new joint initiative between the SFMC and the Office of Colonial Affairs with the aim of providing a garrison level of defence to new colonies on the frontier. Used normally to construct defensive fortifications and field command centres the 53rd has been assisting Eurydice’s colonists with various construction projects around the colony site. While specialist engineers by trade every marine of the 142 member strong company is a trained rifleman, which makes the 53rd an effective force.

Made up out of a mixture of Valkyrie & Javelin class fighters, the marine aerospace squadron provides a significant boost to the overall capabilities of the 53rd company.
