Description:

Sara carries several Borg implants that could not be removed. She has a fair complexion and displays a pleasant demenor, but she is a master at intimidation and carries the ability to give someone a dead-eye stare.

Personality & Traits

General Overview:

Sara's personallity is very open but reserved, she still struggles with her individuality but those instances are rare. She has gained much of her individuality back but has trouble grasping humor, however she has a paticular fear of starfighters and goes out of her way to avoid them. Every time she even talks to a pilot she gets ashamed and leaves. Sara struggles with a lot of guilt and at times it consumes her, there isn't a day that goes by where she dose not feel grief over her past crimes.

Strengths and Weaknesses:

Sara has managed to regain much of her emotions, except that she cannot grasp humor or love. She has exceptional skill at security and tactics, but she will not pilot a fighter and she can not bring herself to speak to a pilot. She dose have the ability to interface with computers however she dose not like to do it because she feels that it insults her as a individual.

Ambitions:

Sara wishes to regain what was taken from her by the Borg and desires nothing less than their total destruction. She hates everything about the Borg and is commited almost obsessively to their destruction; she sees service in Starfleet and being a consultant on Anti-Borg weapons development projects as a from of redemption for her past crimes. To find true redemption is what she longs for.

History

Sara was born to quite a dysfunctiona family, they were all asorbed into their careers and had little time to spend with Sara. So she was sent to live with her Uncle Charlie for most of her childhood. The time she spent with Uncle Charlie was the best time of her life, he was a retired Star Fleet Officer and taught her much about Star Fleet and praticlaly raised her. Uncle Charlie also taught her to fly a shuttlecraft, which she showed promise as a natural pilot. He also taught her how to survive in the wild, skills that would be useful later on in her life.

She then applied at Star Fleet Academy and entered the pilot training program. She amazed her instructors time and time again with her skill as a pilot and even got repremended for low-flying the training field's control tower and making the CO of the base spill his coffee dach time she did it. She was skilled but also cocky. After a rocky training at Star Fleet Flight School she graduated and had additional training in security and tactics. She was then assigned to VFW-231 Storm Ravens on the Federation Colony Gamma Elba III, where she served with distinction as a ace Valkyrie pilot. She is credited with twenty-three kills, over ten sorties and earned the callsign 'Angel Knight' due to her code of honor in flight. She would never attack a foe weaker than herself and she would allow a pilot that is retreating to live however on one patrol; Sara Roberts patrol wing encountered a Borg Probe, they engaged it and heavily damaged it. During the engagement Sara's fighter took a hit and the probe transported borg nanoprobes into her body. She was assimulated into the collective and turned on her patrol wing destroying both of her wingmen, including the pilot that she had fallen in love with; a Star Fleet Fighter Pilot named Alex Foster. To this day she could not even utter his name without breaking down in tears. She was given the designation 2 of 6, auxillary adjunct to Unimatrix One and the Borg used her knowledge of Gamma Elba III's defenses to assimulate the entire colony.

She would remain in the Collective for four years until her Sphere crashlanded on planet named GXT-113, a jungle world near Federation Space. 2 of 6 was the only survivor and she was severed from the collective, she began to survive on the jungle world even as the collective thought her dead. Over time she would regain her individuality and eventually would regain much of herself. She used the Borg technology that survived the crash to remove as many borg implants as she could without killing her, however she learned how to grieve again and began to blame herself for crimes the Borg made her commit including the killing of her lover in cold blood. She then sentanced herself to a lifetime of exile on GXT-113 as self-induced punishment for her crimes. However she would be rescued a Federation Science Ship USS Ranger happened across the planet and the crash site. The Ranger's away team found her. Sara began to think that it was time to take responsibility for her actions and talked to the Rangers's Captain where she demanded to be arrested and put on trial. However the Captain refused, in her anger she punched Captain Marshall out and demanded to be tried for striking a superior officer. However Captain Marshall still refused stating "I cannot judge you as an individual, but if you want redemption face yourself and your past. Do not run from it!"

Sara took those words to heart, but she could not bring herself to step into another Federation fighter craft. She transfered to security and tactical as a way to move on, however she has been known to avoid pilots because of the shame she felt for what the Borg made her do. However she has performed her duties well in her quest for redemption.
