The medical & counseling department is responsible for the mental and physical health of the crew, from running annual physicals to combatting a strange plague that is afflicting the crew to helping a crew member deal with the loss of a loved one. The Pacifica's Counselling Department while operating completely independent also falls under the Medical Department's umbrella. The Medical Department is overseen by the Pacifica's Chief Medical Officer Doctor Connie Butterworth and Counselor Vanessa Baron oversees the Counseling Department.
