The Month in Review

Overview

November played out for us much like October did. We had a pretty steady but slow month, which came about as posting dried up again during the last two weeks. We were having a really good month up until the last two weeks, so if we can work to get over this speed bump then the sky will be the limit for us. Posting quality was good again and we had a wide variety of posts, covering a wide variety of different things. There were also a couple of good JP’s and some good use of a couple of our PNPC’s.

Mission Progess

We didn’t make the progress that I would of liked this month with the mission. I had hoped to have a number of the hotspots wrapped up by now, but they are still running. I will be stepping up my efforts this week and will be pushing to get Voyage of Discovery wrapped up by Friday. This month we will be opening three more hotspots, including a Christmas themed one to allow our characters to mingle in a social setting. This hotspot will be replacing the Promotion Ceremony one as our primary focus. I will be posting more information on that shortly.

Areas of Concern

Our area of concern remains the same as last month, in the posting fade out that we have experienced at the end of both October and November. I am not expecting that to really change this month, as things will be slow over the Christmas/New Year period. We are also carrying a couple of inactive crewmembers at the moment, who I will be trying to contact over the next couple of days. Chances are we’ll be dropping one or two players over the next couple of weeks.

The Month Ahead

Goals for the Month

Our main goals for November are to improve on our posting consistency and try to avoid the end of the month slow down. We are looking at bringing in standard posting requirements in either December or January, so we should also use the month to start getting back into the habit of posting at least once a week. In all I am hopeful of lifting our posting totals this month up to the 35 mark, so I will be setting that as our benchmark for the month.
