Field Marshal is a military rank, the equivalent of which is used by the service organizations of many civilizations.
Use in Starfleet's Marine Corp
The rank of Field Marshal is the senior most flag rank used by Starfleet's Marine Corp. It is the equivalent to the Star Fleet flag rank of Fleet Admiral. In the Marine Corp the position is also known as General of the Marine Corps.
