General Overview

When first commissioned in 2377 the USS Pacifica had 24 decks which was the standard for Sovereign Class Starships at the time. This changed in 2379 when the Pacifica underwent a major refit that included a slight realignment of the warp nacelles. During the refit the Pacifica's deck configuration was changed from 24 to 29 decks in total. This refit is now standard on Sovereign Class vessels the first ship to receive this refit was the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-E.
