General Overview

Starbase 257 is a massive Spacedock Class Starbase located near the Romulan Neutral Zone. The starbase itself serves as a central hub to a number of key Federation trading routes that run along the Neutral Zone. The Pacifica first visited Starbase 257 during the Chirstmas period of 2380 for brief repairs. The crew used the opportunity to take a well earned break and really took the time to enjoy a good Christmas break. Starbase 257 served as the focal point of the USS Pacifica and the rest of Starfleet's Rikan Task Group during their operations against the Rikan Pirates. The station also served as the staging point for the Pacifica led Operation Pacification, which successfully brought and end to the Rikan Pirates.
