First Sergeant

The First Sergeant is the highest ranked Enlisted marine. S/He is in charge of all of the marine enlisted affairs in the detachment. They assist the Company or Detachment Commander as their Executive Officer would. They act as a bridge, closing the gap between the NCO's and the Officers.
