Crewman Apprentice is a non-commissioned rank in Starfleet. The Marine rank equivalent is Private First Class.
Crewman Apprentices are enlisted personnel with typically less than two years of service. Crewmen Apprentice generally perform menial tasks like basic maintenance or act as security officers. Promotion to Crewman after eighteen months of service is routine.
