Hi guys,

I’ve got lots to get through today with this announcement so let’s get to it. Firstly I want to apologise for my quietness over the past couple of weeks as I’ve had a few things on my plate that have been keeping me busy. This is likely to continue for at least another couple of weeks. I will still be around and posting but I won’t be anywhere near as active as I would like. If you need anything in the meantime please feel free to contact Francine who is on hand to answer any questions or concerns.

Moving on to the mission itself. I am currently writing up the new timeline that will explain how the year passes to the Isis Mission. It will also outline all of the missions that we will be doing in the lead up to that as well. The current mission has gone for a little bit longer then I had originally expected, but I’m not too worried by that and I am happy for things to play out in it’s own time. I know that there are a number of JP’s in the work at the moment and they will move us to the point where I can bring the current sim day to the end. Once the current sim day is finished we will move forward to the 25th of December, for the annual Christmas dinner.

Finally I am happy to announce that Lieutenant Commander Matthew Horne despite being absent for the last couple of days of the month has won the Simmer of the Month Award for July. He has also taken out the Post of the Month Award with Francine for their JP titled “The Morning After.” Congrats to both Francine and Matt on their win!

That’s it from me for the moment, if you have any questions or concerns please let Francine know.

Happy Simming.

Daniel.

» Post of the Month Nominations

Posted on Tue Jul 23rd, 2013 @ 1:59am by Lieutenant Commander Francine Hart in General News

Hello everyone,

We are bringing back both the SOTM (Simmer of the Month) & POTM (Post of the Month) awards at the end of the month. For the POTM award Daniel would normally select a member of the crew to look back through the posts of the last month and select several nominations that will in turn be voted on by the rest of the crew. This time though we would like to try and take a different approach.

We are opening up the nomination process to the entire playing base that means that every member of the Pacifica can nominate a post that they feel should be considered for the award. Throughout each month, every play can nominate up to five posts that they like for the award. The selections are to be sent to me by PM by the 1st of each month, so that I can tally them and put together a voting list that will appear here in the forums.

If you come across a post during the month that you really like please nominate it, as it is a wonderful way to recognise the work and writing talents of our player base.

Thanks.

Fran.

» A Quick Heads Up

Posted on Sun Jul 21st, 2013 @ 12:48pm by Captain Daniel Butterworth in General News

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm going to be pretty busy over the next five to seven days. That means I won't be able to log on here as much as I would like next week. I should still be around though in a limited capacity and I hope to post at least once or twice as well. If you don't hear from me though, don't worry as I will be back by the end of the weekend.

In the meantime just continue on posting as you have been and carry on with the current sim day I will re-access where we stand at the end of the week.

Cheers.

Daniel.
